Team Spirit Dinner Information

We are pleased to announce that we will have 5th & 6th  and 7th & 8th grade football teams and cheerleading this fall.  The teams will be part of the Aupang Football Conference, which includes schools from Bath, Dansville, Perry, Morrice, Potterville, Portland St. Pats, Saranac, Stockbridge, Laingsburg, and Williamston. 

PRACTICE/CONDITIONING
Monday, August 17 - Thursday, August 20 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Father Flohe Field.  Each player is required to have these 8 hours of conditioning before they can begin padded practice.  Coaches will hand out practice schedules for the following weeks.

PHYSICALS
Forms need to be completed in order for your son to participate in the program.  Forms are due on August 17 by 5:45 p.m.  You may begin turning in physical forms at 5:00 p.m. by the pole barn at Father Flohe Field.  Please submit 2 copies of the physical---you keep the original.

EQUIPMENT HAND-OUT DAY
Tuesday, August 11 from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the pole barn on Father Flohe Field.  Each players equipment will be set out for him according to measurements and fittings.  Jerseys will be handed out by the coaches after practices begin.  You are also strongly encouraged to turn in your physical forms during equipment hand-out.

WEIGH-IN DAY
Tuesday, September 1.  This takes place in Williamston and currently our time is scheduled roughly from 7:00 - 7:20 p.m.  There are weight restrictions per AUPANG League rules that must be followed, so this is a requirement for our teams.

Regarding Workers for Fall Festival

Dear Parents of 7th and 8th grade Football and Cheer:
 
Fall Festival is scheduled this year for October 11th.  This fundraiser is sponsored by the Athletic Association and is a great source of income for our sports program at St. Patrick School.  Starting in seventh grade, all athletes are required to work a shift in the cafeteria during this event. 
 
I wanted to give you a "heads up" that this year, due to our AUPANG football league playing on Sundays, scheduling the athletes for Fall Festival will be more difficult.  Your son/daughter will more than likely be asked to work the early shift on that day. 

Although we have not yet seen the AUPANG schedule, we do know that most games will be played at 1:00 for 5/6 and 3:00 for 7/8.  This will allow 7th/8th graders to work early in the day at the Fall Festival, before their game.  We have put in a request to the league to have a home game that day, but until the schedule comes out we are unsure of where the game will be.
