GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
In order to graduate, a student must successfully complete 24 credits of course work and satisfy the following course requirements:
*Electives complete the remainder of the coursework. Electives may include art, creative writing, drama, psychology, humanities, co-op (for seniors only), an internship in a career-related field, an additional year of math, science and/or Spanish, or teacher/library/office aide. Elective offerings may vary each year.
Teacher/library aide and office aide offer 0.5 credits per year each and may be taken only once.
Credits from a program outside St. Patrick High School must receive prior approval to be counted toward graduation. A booklet listing the current course offerings is available in the guidance office.
At the conclusion of each year, students’ transcripts are reviewed to determine if they are on track for graduation requirements. If necessary, students must repeat classes they have failed in order to fulfill graduation requirements.
